National team of Denmark
is among the best teams in Europe and one of the biggest favorites
for winning the WC in Macedonia. Women senior national team
is always in the top teams in Europe and they almost always
play in the finals of the big tournaments, like EC, WC and
Olympic games. Denmark is also known, as country where working
with young categories is one of the biggest priorities.
Youth national team of Denmark participated on all youth WC's.
The biggest successes were in 1987 and 1985, when Denmark
was second. In 1987, on WC in Denmark, they were defeated
by SSSR, and in 1995 in Brazil, they lost the finals from
Romania. In China 1999, youth national team of Denmark was
third. On the last WC, held in Hungary, Denmark was seventh.
